Arsenal vs Crystal Palace match review

Arsenal's 11-game winning run came to an end at Crystal Palace, who scored from the penalty spot twice in a pulsating 2-2 draw on Super Sunday. Palace started brightly with Wilfried Zaha hitting the post and Andros Townsend firing wide after a free-flowing move down the left wing. Arsenal were lacklustre, with numerous misplaced chances and were on the backfoot for the beginning of the game. The opening goal came just before the break when Skhodran Mustafi needlessly tripped Cheikhou Kouyate inside the area. Despite the fact there was minimal contact, the referee was always going to give it when you dive in in the 6-yard box. Milivojevic made amends for his miss at Goodison Park, finding the bottom corner with a perfect penalty, sending Berndt Leno the wrong way. As has been the case for most games this season, Arsenal responded after the break and were level inside six minutes, with Granit Xhaka smashing home a phenomenal free-kick past Wayne Hennessey from the corner of

Arsenal vs Leicester match review

Arsenal stormed to a 3-1 victory over Leicester after a Mesut Ozil masterclass and a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brace gave them, despite their start, a comfortable win and a 10 th in a row in all competitions. But the goal belatedly sparked Arsenal into life and they levelled before the break. Mesut Ozil's well-taken goal on the strok

Arsenal vs Fulham match review

Arsenal stormed to a 5-1 victory against London rivals Fulham as braces for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette gave them an emphatic victory at Craven Cottage for a ninth consecutive victory in all competitions. The game started off brightly and evenly, with both teams getting time on the ball yet neither creating clear cut chances, until Fulham were caught on the counter attack by Arsenal in the 29 th minute, where Alex Iwobi fed Nacho Monreal who put the ball across the box into Lacazette’s feet, who took a phenomenal touch that took him away from his   before firing the ball into the near corner with an excellent finish, wrongfooting keeper Marcus Bettinelli. Arsenal started to take control of the game, looking comfortable on the ball and moving it forward quickly, but one sloppy pass from Nacho Monreal meant that Fulham had a route back into the game, with Luciano Vietto playing an inch perfect through ball to Andre Schurrle, who expertly lifted the ball over
